Update: My car got looked at by a mechanic and he could find NOTHING wrong. The car has been starting perfectly fine since the incident. Praise the Lord it didn't cost anything to look at/fix. Just the towing expense, which, ironically, we wouldn't have actually needed if we would have waited another day. I'm very thankful the weather has warmed up to high 30s this week. I hope it stays that way!

Darin is right when he says I have the worst luck with cars. Tonight I went out to my car after working the 5:00- 9:30 shift at TS. It was 3 degrees outside and my car wouldn't start. Nothing at all. Not even a wimpy attempt to start. Just nothing. So I called Darin and he drove the 25 mins to come jump my car. Except when he pulled the lever to pop the hood, the lever broke. So, we couldn't pop the hood. We just drove home and left it in the parking lot. Will take care of it tomorrow. It was too late and too cold tonight.
To make things worse, Darin already has a leaking tire that needs to be replaced. I hope my car needs nothing more than a new battery. Life just seems unfair sometimes. Darin and I are both working like crazy to pay off debt and try to get ahead - but things like this make it so impossible.
I guess I should count my blessings despite a negative attitude at the moment. Things could be A LOT worse. That's it for now. Later.
