Memorial Day Weekend

I had an amazing weekend with friends and family! Saturday was spent antiquing in Hopkins with the Dalida girls - Lori, Faith & Joy. We started a bit before noon, ate at a cute sandwich shop for lunch, called Camille's, and ended around 5. I found lots of goodies!

Sunday Erin & Wayde joined us for church and we ate out together with the whole Stover clan (that includes Nicole!). We spent an hour or two at IKEA (and I managed to NOT buy anything except an ice cream cone) before heading to Scott & Andy's place for Kabobs!

Monday, Dena, Erin & I scoured 3 Arc's Value Village locations for 1/2 price deals and steals. Collectively, we came out with a lot of good buys! A morning spent well in good company.

Darin & I spent the afternoon at the Dalida home - swimming and eating and playing cards. We ended the night with a bonfire and marshmellow roasting.

So, I went on google and typed in "Heads Twogether" in the search box. My results:

Unfortunately, yahoo didn't have as good of results. But, B-ski.com showed up in the top 5 because Aaron had mentioned us on his website.

26th

A memorable birthday weekend, no doubt. Aaron, Adam, & Amy drove up Saturday morning and arrived just before noon. I made mom's Impossible Cheeseburger Pie for lunch. After our shared meal, we headed off to the mall. Aaron was on a mission for dress shirts, so we stopped at H&M for some deals and then to Game Stop for MarioCart for Wii. The Orange Julius vendor made us pine for a treat - so we stopped at Target on our way home to pick up Ice Cream, Raspberries & Orange concentrate to make our own shakes! The boys and Amy broke out Aaron's new game and played Wii all afternoon while I started making mom's pizza recipe. Doug and Dena joined us in time for games and dinner. Jen also came over for the evening festivities. We even had birthday cake (that I made and Dena decorated). We ended the night with Shanghai and opening presents. I got lots of fun goodies!

Sunday morning we attended the 10:45 church service together and went out to eat for lunch afterwards. Got some more cards & presents :) After stuffing ourselves, we headed back to my apartment for naps and more Wii games. We drove to Minneapolis for the Eisley show around 4:30 - it was really great. The opening acts were pretty good - Vedera and The Myriad. But Eisley was by far the highlight of the night. This was my 3rd time seeing them perform. I have to admit, though, it may have been their weakest performance, it seemed a little rushed. But I still loved it!

Aaron, Adam & Amy drove back to IA right after the show ended. But the rest of us - Dena, Doug, Darin, Moni, Luke, Kate, Jen, Brittany and I drove back to Richfield and had a late dinner at Applebee's - half price appetizers after 9! A perfect end to the weekend.

Star Wars

Dena sent me the link to this. Wouldn't it be a great exhibit to check out?
