I'm going to be living at Crossroads again! But in Minneapolis, not Goldfield. Hehe.
Darin and I took a second peek at our new apartment in Richfield this morning. We're signing our lease and picking up our keys Friday, March 28th! The move-in date is scheduled for Satuday the 29th of March - and I'm very excited.
Our new place is considerably smaller than our currect apartment, but, it's also $200 cheaper! It's on the top level and has all hard wood floors! And remember when I was in love with peach -- well, our kitchen is a dark peachy apricot color! Mom, did you save any decorations from when your bathroom was that color? Ha.
Darin has been bringing home an average of 3-4 boxes every time he works. So, I've got about 20 boxes packed up. I think that's about 1/3 of our belongings, not counting furniture. We're trying to be more organized this time around. So, we're only using boxes, no sloppy random odds and ends like before.
So - if anyone wants to help with moving, that would be awesome. I don't think we're gonna rent a U-haul this time since we're not moving very far away and we're pretty tight on money. So, I'm hoping Adam will come help with his truck. Mom and dad, if you want to come up and help too, that would be fun.
At 2pm today, the Chapels are going out to eat at The Olive Garden for Grandma's birthday. How old is she now? I'm not sure. Darin has to work, but, I'm riding with Dena and Doug - Steve & Tammy, and Sandy will be there, but not sure if anyone else is coming. Should be fun.
